Overall responsibility for one or more large-scale activity. Building and being responsible for the unit's strategy and roadmap to achieve interpersonal business, operational and delivery goals as well as end-to-end management of the testing engagements, including professional, financial and HR aspects.

Support multiple customers during project lifecycle by ongoing matrix and complicated team/task management

**What will your job look like?**:
You will:

- Install, configure, and maintain mainframe operating systems and related software.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues and provide technical support to users.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate mainframe systems with other enterprise systems.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing and maintaining backup and recovery procedures.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.

**All you need is...**:

- Proven experience as a Mainframe System Programmer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mainframe operating systems (e.g., z/OS, OS/390).
- Proficiency in mainframe programming languages (e.g., COBOL, Assembler).
- Experience with mainframe utilities and tools (e.g., JCL, TSO, ISPF).
- Experience with installing, patching 3rd Party Software (CA, BMC, IBM).
- Experience with CICS System Administration.
- Experience with DR setup and recovery of MF system.
- Experience with system management Tools like TADz, SMF data.
- Understanding of DASD, TAPE management.
- Maintaining huge enterprise Mainframe System having SYSPLEX setup.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., DB2, IMS).
- Advantage to have Experience with AS400 as system programmer.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with mainframe security and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of mainframe networking and storage technologies.
- Certification in mainframe technologies (e.g., IBM Certified System Programmer).
