**Role Purpose**:
The position is responsible for sourcing raw materials to ensure a robust supply of materials to develop manufacturing of new and existing products.

You will be reporting to **Lead Raw material & Chief Procurement officer**. It's an individual contributor role.

**KRA**:

- Lead sourcing activities, supplier selection and negotiations efforts.
- Pro-actively build positive strategic relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to optimize inventory levels and material flow while minimizing stock-out risks.
- Continually optimize supply chain with respect to price, inventory, supply continuity, and terms and conditions.
- Development of Sourcing strategy and execution while ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
- Price negotiation with suppliers
- Work closely with external suppliers to proactively identify opportunities for implementation of cost optimization, lead time reductions, quality enhancements, and overall improved service levels.
- Identify and qualify potential suppliers, evaluate and communicate performance, manage and develop long-term partnerships with suppliers to enhance overall capabilities and result in more efficient product development and a more agile supply chain.
- Development of MIS for Cost monitoring
- Development of Alternate Sources of Raw Material & coordination with R&D for necessary testing support.
- Development of Alternate type of Raw Materials
- Develop and maintain relationships with leadership of key suppliers that foster communication on forward looking strategies, long range planning and partnerships.
- Review supplier onboarding and provide insight.
- Assists in the development and implementation of sourcing strategy while ensuring company alignment and execution
- Assessment of coverage of Raw Material to ensure sufficient availability of Raw Material
- Development of Alternate Sources of Raw Material & coordination with R&D for necessary testing support.
- Development of Alternate type of Raw Materials
