**1)** Reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings: Fabrication fitters must understand and work from detailed plans, engineering drawings, or schematics to nsure correct fabrication and fitting of parts.

**2)** Cutting, shaping, and forming metal components: They use hand tools, power tools, and cutting machines (e.g., grinders, shears, plasma cutters) to cut and shape metal parts according to required dimensions.

**3)** Assembly and fitting: Fabrication fitters assemble metal components or structures by welding, bolting, or using other fastening methods. They ensure that parts fit together properly and meet specified tolerances.

**4)** Inspecting and testing: Fabrication fitters must ensure that all components are properly assembled and meet quality standards. They often inspect for defects and verify that the final structure meets design specifications.

**5)**Operating machinery and equipment: They operate various machinery, including drills, saws, presses, and bending machines, to fabricate and fit parts.
