**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **System Monitoring and Operation**:

- Operate and monitor computer systems and servers to ensure smooth functionality.
- Ensure that systems are running efficiently and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Perform daily system checks, backups, and log system performance.
- Operate various software and hardware according to company requirements.
- **Data Entry and Management**:

- Input and update data into computer systems accurately.
- Maintain files, records, and databases in an organized and secure manner.
- Ensure proper handling of documents and files, following privacy policies and procedures.
- **Software and Hardware Maintenance**:

- Assist in installing and upgrading software programs as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on hardware devices, including printers, scanners, and monitors.
- Report technical issues and collaborate with the IT department to resolve any system problems.
- **Batch Processing and Reporting**:

- Run batch jobs and automated processes according to the work schedule.
- Generate and prepare reports as requested by management.
- Monitor and verify the successful completion of tasks and resolve any issues that arise.
- **Security and Backup**:

- Ensure data security by adhering to established protocols and maintaining backups of critical data.
- Perform routine backup procedures and ensure data integrity.
- Monitor access and ensure system security measures are being followed.
- **Troubleshooting and Support**:

- Troubleshoot computer system errors or malfunctions and assist with resolving issues.
- Provide support to other departments or team members with computer-related tasks as needed.
- Liaise with IT staff for any advanced technical issues that require expert assistance.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in computer science or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar technical support role.
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting computer systems and network issues.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and IT staff.
