**Role: IT Security Architect (Azure Sentinel, MS Cloud **Security**)**

To be part of a global security operations center and be responsible for - proactively identify threats and vulnerabilities; implement industry best practices; participate in the review and resolution of opportunities from both internal and external IT security audits; provide recommendations to the overall IT security posture of the organization; and participate in the creation of IT security awareness communications to the organization that adhere to corporate safety and security regulations

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform implementation, engineering and operational technical activities to support various security tools - specifically Azure Sentinel and MS Cloud Security platforms.
- Provide technical consulting and architectural services to existing and potential customers in multiple security areas including Security Operations Center (SOC), SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management, Network and Cloud Security, Security incident response.
- Work with the customer to understand and align the security solutions based on the due diligence and discovery activities.
- Develop use cases, integrate solutions, and implement detection and correlation rules.
- Investigate and provide proper incident response to emerging security threats.
- Act as a single point of contact for customers for all technical discussion and to come up with the solutions for customer requirements.
- Work on customer and internal escalations.
- Create executive dashboards and reports based on the requirements.
- Actively participate in customer meetings and give presentations on security solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or an equivalent degree.
- 8+ years of working experience in Information Security.
- Strong knowledge and earlier experience in implementation of various enterprise level security solutions including SOC, Vulnerability Management, EDR, Cloud Security, Network Security, Identity and Access Management.
- Strong understanding of emerging security technologies and have the ability to present them to customers.
- Knowledge of creating incident response procedures, processes, and KB articles for the operations team.
- Experience working on Due Diligence, Discovery and integration or separation planning, working with a cross functional team of experts to understand the as-is and to-be business and enterprise architecture.
- Good understanding of security threats and mitigation strategies.
- Have in-depth knowledge on how to investigate and respond to various security alerts, and can able to create incident response procedures for same.
- Certification in any of the following is a plus: CISSP, CEH, CHFI, CCSP, GCIH, GCIA.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, customer service and facilitation skills
- Ready to work in 24x7 Security operations.
