Celebration is seeking a qualified and experienced safety officer for a 3-month contract position. The duty of the safety officer is to perform safety inspections and make sure that all safety procedures are followed on the job site.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure that corrective actions are taken to mitigate risks.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and provide detailed reports.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a safety officer or in a similar role.
- **Certifications**: [required certifications, e.g., OSHA certification, NEBOSH, etc.]
- **Knowledge**: Strong knowledge of safety management systems, local safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- **Skills**: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
