Key Responsibilities
- ** Material Handling**: Operate a reach truck to move, load, and unload materials, products, and shipments.
- ** Loading/Unloading**: Safely load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, or rail cars and place them into storage or to various workstations.
- ** Storage**: Place and retrieve materials from high-rise racking systems in a warehouse environment.
- ** Vehicle Operation**: Drive and maneuver the reach truck efficiently and safely within narrow aisle configurations.
- ** Inventory Management**: Accurately track inventory, count items, and use RF scanners to update stock levels.
- ** Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- ** Equipment Inspection & Maintenance**: Perform daily pre-operational checks on the reach truck for any damage or maintenance needs and report any issues.
- ** General Warehouse Duties**: Assist with other tasks, such as picking orders, wrapping pallets, and general warehouse organization and cleanliness.
