**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, architects, and product managers, to define data requirements and schema designs, ensuring they align with MongoDB Atlas best practices.
- Optimise database performance, monitor database health in MongoDB Atlas, and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.
- Ensure data integrity and security in MongoDB Atlas, implementing appropriate access controls and encryption mechanisms as per industry standards.
- Create and maintain database documentation, including schema designs, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures specific to MongoDB Atlas configurations.
- Develop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies in MongoDB Atlas to ensure data availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and advancements in MongoDB Atlas and NoSQL database technologies, continuously refining database strategies.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, sharing your knowledge and expertise in MongoDB Atlas to foster their growth and skill development.
- Participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to improve code quality and adherence to MongoDB Atlas and database best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support MongoDB Atlas deployments, configurations, and monitoring, ensuring high availability and performance of databases.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a MongoDB Developer, with at least 2-3 years working with MongoDB Atlas in production environments.
- Strong understanding of NoSQL databases and their advantages over traditional relational databases, with a specific focus on MongoDB Atlas features.
- Experience with data modelling, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques in MongoDB Atlas.
- In-depth knowledge of MongoDB Atlas features, such as Atlas Search, Data Lake, and multi-region clusters.
- Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas monitoring and management tools to ensure database health and performance.
- Solid understanding of database security principles and best practices, especially within the context of MongoDB Atlas security features.
- Experience with any programming language such as Python, Node.js, or Java to interact with MongoDB Atlas Triggers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database-related issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
- Any relevant MongoDB certifications, particularly MongoDB Atlas-specific certifications, would be advantageous.

Pay: Up to ₹900,000.00 per year
