Job Title: GNM Nurse

Department: Nursing / Patient Care

Location: Dehradun

Reporting To: Head Nurse / Nursing Superintendent / Medical Officer

Job Summary:
The GNM Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, supporting doctors in clinical procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety in the healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound dressing, and basic procedures.

Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions regularly.

Assist physicians during medical examinations and treatments.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Provide pre and post-operative care.

Administer injections, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.

Support in labor rooms, emergency rooms, and general wards as needed.

Educate patients and families on health care and post-treatment care.

Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and infection control practices.

Handle emergency situations promptly and efficiently.

Comply with all hospital policies and protocols.

Qualifications:
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

Registered Nurse with State Nursing Council

**Experience**:
Minimum 0-3 years of relevant nursing experience (Freshers may be considered.

Experience in hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility preferred

Skills & Competencies:
Excellent clinical and patient care skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in shifts and handle stressful situations

Compassionate and empathetic attitude

Basic knowledge of medical software and record-keeping

Working Conditions:
Shift duties including night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Exposure to clinical environments, including emergency and ICU setups.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
