**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Own and direct the evolution of the end-to-end Power BI platform in support of our clients to support current and future needs
- Guide and advise our clients on the adoption and usage of the out of the box platform reports and required changes to meet their needs
- Estimate and design the most complex areas of client requirements and guide the development team in delivery of these reports
- Constantly introduce solution and process changes to bring down the defect density for on-going reports to improve client satisfaction
- Mentor and guide a team of junior Power BI / Azure developers

**Skills Required**:

- 5+ years of experience in role of a BI Architect
- Desired Technical Skills
- 5+ years of experience architecting solutions using Power BI or equivalent BI platform
- Strong experience within the Insurance P&C domain with a good understanding of interfacing and reporting off core Insurance P&C platforms
- Good understanding of the underlying ETL processes that feed the Power BI reports, that include Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake (gen1, gen2), SSIS, or equivalent ETL tools
- Ability to look at various data load options and suggest an optimal way of proceeding.
- Ability to create KPIs, visualizations, reports, and dashboards based on business requirements
- Proficiency with DAX queries for Power BI desktop.
- Proficiency in creating paginated reports using BI report builder and embedding to Power BI
- Expertise in using advanced level calculations on data sets
- Insurance Industry experience is a big plus.
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Azure Data Factory.
- Ability to translate data into informative reports and visuals.
