**Overview**:
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Analyze solar project flow, customer data, and operational efficiency using statistical methods such as:
- **
Bayesian inference**
- **
Distribution modeling**
- **
Descriptive and inferential statistics**
- Write and explain complex **SQL queries** to extract, join, filter, and manipulate large datasets.
- Develop **forecasts, trend analyses, and performance reports** for internal decision-makers.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to support **data-informed strategies**.
- Perform **data validation** and ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness in reporting.
- Translate statistical outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- **
Statistics**
- **
Data Science**
- **
Industrial Engineering & Operations Research (IEOR)**
- Or a related quantitative field
- **
3+ years of experience** in a statistical or data analyst role
- Strong **SQL proficiency** - ability to write and explain optimized queries
- Effective communicator with strong **data visualization skills** (e.g., Excel, BI tools)
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in scripting with **Python** or **R**
- Familiarity with solar, renewable energy, or utility sector data
- Exposure to tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
**Soft Skills**:
- Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems
- Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to data challenges
