**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Academic Advising**: Student counselors should assess a student's academic background, interests, and goals to provide appropriate guidance on selecting the right course, program, or institution abroad. This involves helping students choose a major or field of study that aligns with their career aspirations.

**Financial Planning**: Help students plan and budget for their education abroad. This includes discussing tuition fees, living expenses, scholarship opportunities, and financial aid options.

**Cultural Adjustment**: Prepare students for cultural differences and challenges they may encounter while studying abroad. Counselors can offer advice on adapting to a new culture, dealing with homesickness, and building a support network.

**Pre-Departure Orientation**: Organize pre-departure orientation sessions to equip students with essential information about their destination country, including local customs, laws, healthcare, and safety measures.

**Career Counseling**: Discuss long-term career goals with students and help them understand how their chosen course of study aligns with their career aspirations. Provide information on internships, co-op programs, and job prospects in the host country.

**Support for Students with Disabilities**: Ensure that students with disabilities receive appropriate accommodations and support services at their chosen institution abroad.

**Conflict Resolution**: Mediate and offer support in case students encounter academic or personal challenges while studying abroad. This may involve facilitating communication between students and the host institution.

**Post-Study Opportunities**: Discuss post-graduation options, such as work visas, further studies, or returning to their home country. Provide guidance on networking and job search strategies.

**Continuous Support**: Maintain communication with students while they are abroad, offering assistance and guidance when needed. Counselors should be accessible through various communication channels.

**Documentation and Record Keeping**: Keep accurate records of counseling sessions, student profiles, and documents to ensure compliance with legal and institutional requirements.

**Professional Development**: Stay informed about changes in immigration policies, admission requirements, and educational trends to provide up-to-date information to students.

**Ethical Conduct**: Adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality in all interactions with students, respecting their privacy and rights.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
