Job Descriptions
1. Culturing and Fermentation:
- Manage and oversee the Kombucha fermentation process, including the preparation and maintenance of Kombucha cultures (SCOBY) and starter liquid.
- Monitor fermentation tanks, ensuring proper temperature, pH levels, and sugar content are maintained.
- Conduct routine quality checks to assess the progress of fermentation and make necessary adjustments.
2. Recipe Development:
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and refine Kombucha recipes, experimenting with different flavors, ingredients, and brewing techniques.
- Document and maintain detailed records of recipe variations and outcomes.
- Improve and optimize our production processes, including fermentation, bottling, and packaging.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the consistency and safety of Kombucha products.
- Conduct sensory evaluations to assess flavor profiles and product quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to taste, texture, or appearance.
- Manage the day-to-day production operations, ensuring that we meet our production targets while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
- Conduct regular product testing and quality control checks, identifying any potential issues and taking appropriate corrective actions.
4.Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary production environment.
- Perform routine sanitation and cleaning of equipment, fermentation tanks, and work areas.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
5. Batch Scaling and Production:
- Scale up Kombucha production as needed to meet demand, ensuring the same quality standards are maintained.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule and execute brewing, bottling, and packaging processes efficiently.
6.Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all brewing activities, including ingredient usage, fermentation parameters, and quality control data.
- Generate regular reports summarizing production metrics and quality assessments.
7.Equipment Maintenance:
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of brewing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment issues or coordinate with maintenance personnel.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Kombucha brewing or similar fermentation processes.
- Strong understanding of microbiology, food safety, and quality control principles.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving brewing techniques and industry trends.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as necessary.
**Salary**: ₹10,472.64 - ₹43,694.15 per month
