Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:
The Accounts Assistant supports the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Transaction Processing**:
- Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the accounting system.
- **Record Maintenance**:
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Organize and archive financial documents as per company policy.
- **Reconciliation**:
- Assist with bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- **Reporting**:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
- **Support Audits**:
- Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- **Communication**:
- Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding payments and billing inquiries.
- Respond to requests for financial information in a timely manner.
- **Administrative Tasks**:
- Assist in maintaining the financial filing system.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
