**Navigating the position**: Manual Tester-
Your Voyage Ahead:

- **Agile Team Participation**
- Be part of an Agile team, participating in all Agile ceremonies and activities.
- Be accountable for sprint deliverables.
- **Test Strategy and Planning**
- Define test strategies and design test plans.
- Prepare Test Scenarios and Test Cases for module and integration testing.
- **Test Execution**
- Execute various types of testing, including:

- Sanity testing
- Smoke testing
- Functional testing
- Compatibility testing
- Cross-browser testing
- Regression testing
- Performance testing using performance monitoring tools
- **Test Analysis and Reporting**
- Communicate and report test activities.
- Highlight risks based on test outcomes.
- **Lifecycle Management**
- Work across the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Ensure products are delivered according to a published roadmap within planned release cycles.

Recommended to bring on board:
**Software Testing**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in:

- Sanity testing
- Smoke system testing
- Functional testing
- Compatibility testing
- Cross-browser testing
- 5+ years of experience in software testing.

**Agile Methodologies**:

- 3+ years of experience working within Agile ceremonies.
- Complete STLC and SDLC experience in Agile processes.

**Test Artifacts**:

- Good understanding and experience with test artifacts such as test cases and scenarios.
- Good knowledge of Traceability Matrix and Test Plan.

**Tools and Technologies**:

- Hands-on experience with test management tools like Zephyr Scale.

**Automation**:

- Basic experience with automation tools, particularly Selenium in Java.
- Knowledge in developing automation frameworks.

**Performance Testing**:

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Load Runner.

**Additional Tools**:

- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- API and Linux testing exposure.

**Certifications**:

- ISTQB certification.
