The Bakery - Commis Chef is responsible for ensuring timely food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, supporting kitchen operations, and consistently delivering high-quality dishes according to established standards.

**Bakery Production**:
- Prepare bakery items (breads, pastries, cakes, desserts) as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Complete mise-en-place activities for the Bakery section before service periods.
- Operate baking equipment like ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain consistency, quality, and portion control in all bakery products.
- Pull bakery products from storage as per thawing and preparation requirements.
- Innovate in preparation, presentation, and menu ideas under guidance.
**Work Efficiency & Cleanliness**:
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery workstations, storage, and equipment.
- Follow food hygiene and safety regulations strictly (HACCP guidelines, FSMS ISO 22483:2020 compliance).
- Ensure all bakery production tasks are completed within allocated timeframes.
- Maintain bakery logs, stock levels, and inform the Line Manager about low/depleted stock.
**Coordination**:
- Support other kitchen sections when needed.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping teams for maintenance and cleanliness of bakery equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the team and report any operational issues immediately.
**Service Orientation**:
- Greet colleagues and guests warmly, following brand standards.
- Work cooperatively with the broader kitchen and service teams to meet guest expectations.
- Step in to assist colleagues beyond regular duties whenever necessary.
**Conduct and Grooming**:
- Maintain a professional, positive, and friendly attitude at all times.
- Adhere to personal grooming and uniform standards.
- Demonstrate honesty, reliability, and teamwork under all circumstances.
