Working Hours:

- Approximate India Working Hours: 2pm-11pm

Job Responsibilities:

- Work with Purchasing Buyers to improve material cost forecast accuracy.
- Lead Purchasing groups through a monthly forecast reporting cadence. Meeting output will be presented to Business Unit General Managers.
- Analyze year-over-year direct material cost variance on a monthly basis.
- Monitor cost reduction project impact to business forecasts.
- Drive cost analysis efficiency improvements through use of Excel, Power BI, SAP BI Launch Pad.
- Establish and document business processes.

**Skills**:

- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, clear communication to stakeholders required.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Knowledge of business principles involved in direct material cost reporting and forecasting required.
- Previous experience with component supplier agreements and cost changes a plus.
- Power BI proficiency a plus.
- SAP experience a plus.
- Previous knowledge of Caterpillar purchasing systems a plus.

Education/Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
- 6-8 years of experience required.
