**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Conducting legal analysis and researching legal matters.
- Providing advice on legal matters.
- Drafting legal opinions, memoranda, and briefing documents.
- Reviewing legal material.
- Formulating formalities regarding settlements of disputes.
- Arrange for translators for legal appointments, court dates, etc. whenever necessary
- Assess and assist service needs, provide relevant and useful information on rights and available options, and connect appropriately to resources
- Build relationships with community organizations, attorneys, Create, maintain and update resources to ensure program and client success
- Liaising and negotiating with civil authorities to obtain planning permission and building approvals.
- Guiding clients through various forms of dispute resolution, up to and including litigation
- Ensure all protocols and performance standards are actively integrated into direct service implementation, and services are standardized and consistent at all times
- Provide emotional support to clients throughout any legal processes
- contracts are breached, payments are not made, injuries sustained, and other issues arise around the project.
- Working closely with legal professionals of other disciplines including finance, property and regulatory to ensure due diligence is carried out, funding is secured etc
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of industry-specific and general commercial contracts between the different parties involved in a project.
