Job Summary:
The Packing supervisor is responsible for overall day - to -day responsible
for all the packing activities as per schedule planning.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Knowledge in LABELS understanding, Barcode knowledge,
corrugated box, poly bag, labelling methods, Wood pallets
knowledge, forklift operating standards, safety etc.. box stripping,
stacking, container loading knowledge.
Maintaining inventory of supplies such as tape, labels, boxes, and
other packaging materials
Inspecting incoming raw materials to ensure that they meet quality
standards for use in finished products
Supervising a team of packers to ensure that products are packaged
correctly and efficiently
Ensuring that all packaging is done in accordance with customer
requirements & regarding Quality of materials used in packaging
Ensuring that all packaging is done in accordance with brand
standards, understand the document given by requirements set by
customers.
Developing standard operating procedures for the packaging
department to ensure efficient operations
Coordinating with shipping and receiving staff to ensure that orders
are received on time and that items are shipped out accurately
Ensuring that all packaging materials are stored properly and safely
to prevent damage or spoilage.
Coordinating with designers to ensure that packaging meets branding
requirements and reflects the latest style.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Planning the packing inventory, ensure 100% quality check at packing
point, ensure all the packing is followed as per the sop and operation of
packing machines and maintaining in good condition, writing daily
checklists, printing labels as per standards, check quality of the labels,
check incoming inventor of packing quality and report accordingly to
manager. Maintaining daily packing plan on the section and arranging the
works done properly with good discipline. 5’s Maintained in the packing
areas.
