As a core marketing team at Kwalee, we’re imaginative talents who create media content in our efforts to boost the marketing performances for our Kwalee games. Our work gets audiences to connect with us, advertises our chart-topping games, and highlights Kwalee as a global games industry expert.

**What Does The Job Actually Involve?**
- Write clear and concise copy that effectively communicates the unique features, benefits, and value propositions of our games and services to engage and captivate our target audiences - players, developers, media and both future and current employees.
- Collaborate with other teams across the business to communicate complex ideas through engaging marketing copy - across a wide range of disciplines - including game development, data science, publishing, recruitment, monetisation and programming.
- Manage and be the public ‘Editor in Chief’ of the SEO-driven Kwalee blog - writing articles, recruiting authors from across the business and creating a marketing strategy that grows its readership.
- Write press releases and editorial content that generates interest and coverage for Kwalee’s brand and games such as Q&As, expert commentary, news, surveys, award entries and more.
- Support our social media and digital campaigns teams with copywriting, advertising and original content.
- Maintain the copy for our Kwalee website, conducting regular audits and liaising with the website team to update and create new pages when required.
- Write informative and educational content on expert topics for our audiences, such as how-to guides for our Publishing Portal and video scripts for our game development learning programme.
- Conduct thorough research to stay updated on industry trends, game mechanics, and audience preferences, leveraging insights to enhance the effectiveness of copy.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Develop and implement content strategies that align with Kwalee's brand voice and objectives, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.

**Your Hard Skills**
- Proven experience as a Copywriter or similar role in the gaming, technology, or creative industries.
- Proficiency in English with exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
- 2+ years of experience of professional copywriting
- A passion for gaming and understanding of gaming terminology, mechanics, and player psychology.
- Ability to tailor writing style to different purposes, e.g. press releases, blog posts, website copy and more
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong research skills to gather relevant information and insights to inform copy development
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for optimising copy for search engines is a plus
- Knowledge of Wordpress a big plus
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas for engaging copy
