He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued >$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience (edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering, product, design) - Adapt at performing quickly under pressure and meeting deadlines as they work with content writers, designers, domain experts and SEO analysts to produce compelling longform content pieces (blogs, PR articles, ebooks, newsletters and other marketing collaterals) that inform and influence the student community and educate industry stakeholders. - An expert in content creation, which will appeal to stakeholders in the edtech industry and help Leap establish itself as the go-to platform for international education-related information worldwide. - Well-versed in the study abroad industry and comfortable editing and rewriting content across different topics and formats. - An individual with a strong background in editing, rewriting and researching, an eye for detail, and the ability to simplify and explain complex material. - A team player who can share clear feedback and navigate the organisation to get the job done. **As a Content Editor, you will**: - Edit, rewrite and reshape longform content pieces with dynamic prose and strong editorial judgment. - Research, fact-check, and create exclusive content that will make Leap stand apart. - Ensure articles have context and actionable content for customers; produce sharp insights and lively writing. - Ensure that content meets Leap’s accuracy, speed, balance and clarity standards. - Enforce Leap’s high editorial and ethical standards, adhering to style, guidelines and policies. **Experience and Behaviors**: - 5 years of experience editing and rewriting longform content. Editors with proven rewriting skills in longform journalism will also be considered. - Familiarity with editorial writing, publishing and design tools such as Grammarly, WordPress, Canva and others. - Experience with SEO and keyword research tools such as Semrush is a plus. - An ability to multi-task and deliver under pressure. - Strong communication skills along with a diverse and inclusive mindset. - A can-do attitude and the ability to manage time effectively. - Experienced founding team - Right to win - The founding team knows the business & its secrets inside out.
