Lab Technician

**Job Title**: Lab Technician - Plastic Washing, Sorting & Granules (HDPE/PP/LDPE)

**Location**: KHUSHKHERA BHIWADI RAJASTHAN
**Department**: Quality Control / Laboratory
**Reporting To**: Quality Manager / Plant Head

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled **Lab Technician** to support the quality control and analysis of materials during the **plastic recycling process**, including **washed flakes, sorted materials, and final granules** of **HDPE, PP, and LDPE**. The technician will perform lab testing, maintain records, and ensure product standards are met as per industry and customer specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular sampling and quality testing of:

- Washed plastic flakes
- Colour and polymer sorted materials
- Final HDPE, PP, LDPE granules
- Conduct tests like:

- Melt Flow Index (MFI)
- Density
- Moisture content
- Ash content
- Color matching and contamination check
- Maintain and calibrate lab instruments (MFI testers, ovens, moisture analyzers, etc.)
- Record test results accurately and generate daily quality reports
- Communicate quality deviations with the production team and suggest corrective actions
- Assist in implementing and following SOPs, ISO/QC standards (if applicable)
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and order in the laboratory area

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Plastics, Chemistry, or Science Graduate
- Experience: 2-4 years in a plastics recycling lab or polymer testing lab preferred
- Knowledge of **HDPE, PP, LDPE granules and flake testing methods**:

- Basic computer skills for report generation
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and timely execution of lab duties
- Willingness to work in shifts if required
