Desired Skills:

- Experience writing functional and integration tests for Continuous Integration and Deployment frameworks.
- Experience developing or enhancing complex/large scale test frameworks and libraries.
- Experience developing performance test framework for Embedded platforms.
- Experience with Pytest, Robot Framework, TestNG, Junit or similar build and unit testing frameworks.
- Proficient understanding of Source Control software and Code Collaboration tools (Git, SVN, etc.); experience with Issue and Project Tracking software (JIRA, TFS, etc.)

Qualifications/Skillset Requirements Roles & Responsibilities
- 5 to 8 yrs relevant work experience in SDET role
- Expert in Selenium, Pytest, Robot framework and especially proficient in embedded testing using Python.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Linux and RTOS platform for embedded systems
- Good knowledge of web services standards, API Testing and related technologies (REST, SOAP, XML)
- Analysing functional and technical documentation to identify requirements for test cases and test scripts
- Experience in developing automation scripts with various framework approaches like Data driven, Modular, Keyword driven
- Good knowledge and understanding in performance testing for Embedded platforms.
- Expert in debugging skills.
- Strong with testing process and terminologies.
- Experience integrating the test framework with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium Grid) in cloud and data-centre based infrastructure
- Experience working in Agile development methodology and fast paced delivery model
- Should be open to work on any tools, technology, projects as per business needs.
- Should be able to work individually or as a team player as per project needs.
- Must have proven track record of validating high quality products.
- Experience with protocol testing such as Serial/ TCP/UDP, Modbus/TCP, SNMP, BACnet/IP, WebSocket, etc.
- Understanding in backend physical resource testing, notably memory, CPU load, and disk IO.
- Propensity to probe and find defects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Communicate daily status reports in Scrum and participate in agile ceremonies
- Document process, designs, test results, and analysis reports
