**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Assist in menu planning and preparation of food items for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry and kitchen areas.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Support culinary staff by preparing ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying supervisors of low supplies.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health regulations.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or culinary settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of fine dining standards and practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required within the kitchen setting.
