Graphic Designer

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Events team to understand project requirements and objectives.

2. Conceptualize and create visually stunning designs for event materials, including but not limited to brochures, banners, signage, invitations, and digital assets.

3. Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the event's message.

4. Work closely with the Marketing team to create promotional materials that drive attendance and engagement.

5. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.

6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design, incorporating innovative ideas into designs.

7. Edit and proofread event-related materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.

8. Collaborate with external vendors, such as printers and photographers, to ensure the successful execution of design projects.

9. Maintain a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all designs.

10. Manage and organize design files and assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and well-documented.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a Graphic Designer in an Events department, with a portfolio showcasing event-related designs.

3. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

4. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts.

6. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.

8. Experience with video editing and motion graphics is a plus.

9. Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
