(Data Measurement & Reporting Analyst)
Summary
**Job Description**:
To be successful as a Visual Analytics Analyst, you must possess and be able to execute on the following:
**Analytic Skills**: Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret and translate data in an effort to create data visualizations that provide meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
Deliver insightful, easy to understand dashboards and visualizations
Leverage and understand industry best practices for data visualization
Perform analysis on large datasets by using a combination of tools including Tableau, AWS and SQL
**Communication**: Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Help to inform best practices for the Visual Analytics Team
Demonstrate a flexible approach to communication; adapt messages quickly to the appropriate level or function with poise and polish
Keep key stakeholders informed of project updates via regular communications and participation in daily stand ups
Requirements/Skills
Degree in a quantitative field (i.e. computer sciences, mathematics, engineering, sciences)
Experience with Tableau and or other data visualization tools
Experience utilizing SQL, R and/or Python for working with complex datasets
Data analytics expertise
2-4 years’ experience in a fast paced quantitative environment
High attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fast learner who takes initiative
Intellectually curious and takes ownership for everything you do
