Position Overview: As a Sourcing and Inventory Management Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the sourcing and inventory management processes within the company. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in supply chain management, procurement, or related fields. You will work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely sourcing of materials and efficient management of inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sourcing:

- Assist in identifying potential suppliers and conducting initial evaluations.
- Participate in supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain supplier relationships and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Inventory Management:

- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks.
- Work with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Support the implementation of inventory management systems and processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize inventory management efficiency.
- Data Analysis:

- Collect and analyze data related to sourcing activities and inventory levels.
- Generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve sourcing and inventory management processes.
- Documentation and Compliance:

- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation related to sourcing agreements and inventory transactions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, production, and finance to ensure alignment of sourcing and inventory management activities with overall business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to address their sourcing and inventory-related needs.
