**Key Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Development & Lesson Planning**:

- Design and implement lesson plans that adhere to school curriculum standards.
- Integrate reading, writing, listening, and speaking exercises to enhance students’ language skills.
- Select and recommend textbooks, novels, and other resources.

**Instruction**:

- Teach English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing techniques.
- Provide instruction in literature, including analysis of texts and themes.
- Teach language arts skills such as writing essays, reports, and creative work.
- Tailor lessons to the needs of diverse students, including differentiated instruction for varying levels of proficiency.

**Assessment & Feedback**:

- Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to improve their skills.
- Maintain and update grade books and provide regular updates to students and parents.

**Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Handle classroom discipline and promote an atmosphere of learning and collaboration.

**Student Support**:

- Offer additional help or tutoring for students who need extra support.
- Foster a love for reading and writing among students.
- Motivate students to become independent thinkers and effective communicators.

**Professional Development**:

- Attend meetings, workshops, and conferences to stay updated on educational trends and best practices.
- Participate in school events, such as parent-teacher conferences or extracurricular activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification (if required by the region or school system).
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience or coursework in teaching English and literature (depending on the level).
