**Job Opening: Gateman (Ex-Serviceman) - Indian Railways (Lucknow Division)**

**Location**: Various stations across Lucknow Division, North Eastern Railway

**Job Type**: Contractual (Until 31st December 2027)

**About the Role**:
We are hiring **Ex-Servicemen** to serve as **Gatemen** at level crossings in Lucknow Division, North Eastern Railway. This is a contractual engagement under a government-authorized outsourcing arrangement.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- **Background**: Must be an Ex-Serviceman (Army/Navy/Air Force) OR retired CAPF personnel.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles with any Government/Semi-Government/Private organization.
- **Medical Fitness**: Must qualify **A-3 category** medical fitness (as per Indian Railway Medical Manual).
- **Education**: Minimum **Matriculation (10th pass)**.
- **Age Limit**: Not more than **62 years** as on **31st December 2024**. Will not be retained beyond **65 years**.
- **Training & Exam**: Mandatory training and qualifying exam required before deployment.

**Documents Required**:

- Valid Photo ID
- Educational Qualification Certificate
- Discharge Certificate
- Two recent passport-size photographs

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate level crossing gates safely.
- Ensure safety of road traffic and railway operations.
- Maintain logbooks and safety equipment.
- Be available on-call and follow duty rosters (12-hour shifts, 6 days/week).
- Uphold discipline, cleanliness, and railway protocols at all times.

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- **Monthly Salary**: ₹23,020/
- **Night Duty Allowance**: As applicable
- **Uniform Allowance**: ₹5,000/- (once a year)
- **Leave**: 10 days casual leave per year
- **No other benefits like housing, medical, or travel perks will be provided.**

Aishbagh, Mailani, Sitapur, Burhwal, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Anand Nagar, Nautanwa, Barabanki, Mankapur, Katra BG, Bahraich, and more.

**Important Notes**:

- A 10% trained manpower reserve must be maintained by the service provider.
- This is a **purely contractual position** with no entitlement to permanent employment.
