**Job Summary**:
The MRI Technician is responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The role involves operating MRI equipment, preparing patients, maintaining safety protocols, and coordinating with medical staff for efficient imaging services.
**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Operate MRI scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients according to the examination requirements.
- Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety during scans.
- Administer contrast media when required, under supervision.
- Monitor patient condition throughout the scanning process.
- Maintain detailed records of scans and patient data.
- Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards (e.g., screening for metallic implants).
- Assist radiologists in image interpretation and procedure planning.
- Perform daily calibration and basic maintenance of MRI equipment.
- Maintain hygiene and infection control within the imaging area.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma / Degree in Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology
- Certification or training in MRI (as per regional standards)
- Valid registration with a relevant healthcare authority (if applicable)
**Experience**:
- 1-3 years of experience in MRI imaging (entry-level applicants may also be considered)
**Skills Required**:
- Strong knowledge of MRI protocols and safety procedures
- Good understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and patient-handling skills
- Technical proficiency in imaging software and equipment handling
- Ability to work under pressure and manage emergency situations

Pay: ₹8,594.58 - ₹36,322.95 per month
