**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To assess, prioritize, plan, implement care in accordance with the anesthesia guidelines.
- Provides standardized care in OT during anesthesia for patients following established

guidelines and OT standards.
- To always adhere to departmental policies; to be conversant with such policies.
- Adheres to the surgical safety checklist for all surgeries.
- Transport and shift post-surgery to recovery area and report any abnormal findings.
- To assist and accompany the Anesthetist during pain management and follow -up.
- Administer to patients always with a female nurse in attendance.
- Assist in LDR for epidural.
- Wash instruments post-surgery.
- Take an active role in establishing and maintaining effective communication with operating team.
- Tracks inventory of medication used in OT.
- Assist with maintaining equipment and stocks related to anesthesia; reordering stores when appropriate and ensure that optimum stock levels are always maintained.
- Ensure that the medical gas levels are always maintained at the appropriate level.
- Checks all equipment and gas lines for serviceability before any procedure.
- Understand the legal policy for storage and checking of drugs and narcotics is strictly adhered to.
- Ensures documentation is complete, accurate and legible, and that their relevance is understood.
- Ensure safe keeping of records and data protection.
- To be accountable for own safe practice/the equipment used for anesthesia.
- To maintain awareness of current developments in anesthesia.
- To participate within the departmental / hospital teaching program.
- Maintain professional standards, well groomed, uphold ethics, dignity and respect.
- _Performs any job / task as and when assigned by the superior.
- During night shift and in case of additional responsibilities, to support clinical and nursing departments.

**Qualification: Diploma/B.Sc. (OT)**

**Experience: 1 - 5 years**

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
