An American online university is looking for an Instructional Designer.

The Instructional Designer collaborates with Subject Matter Experts to develop and deliver quality online courses for UoPeople. The Instructional Designer will utilize proven pedagogical methods and current tools to create interactive and engaging content for students. Courses are developed with full accessibility and in accordance with Quality Matters and university standards.

Office Location: Remote

**Responsibilities**:

- Works with Subject Matter Expert/Course Developers on the design and development of the UoPeople online courses
- Provides expertise in instructional planning, development, implementation and evaluation of online learning courses
- Collaborates with Multimedia and Quality Assurance specialists to develop accessible, engaging, and interactive content elements
- Provide assistance with the selection of instructional materials and the design and use of learning tools and activities for an interactive online environment
- Provide guidance and assistance for the creation of effective and meaningful assessments of student learning
- Contribute to the identification of high-quality open education resources (OER)
- Provide direction on the design and development of all course elements, including syllabi, course learning outcomes, and curricular mapping
- Track progress and ensure timely completion of the overall project deliverables
- Upload course materials and media to the learning management system (Moodle)

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in instructional design or related field, or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience
- One or more years’ of instructional design experience
- Ability to manage time, projects, and resources in order to achieve goals
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Experience working in a learning management system (Moodle preferred)

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
