**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain logical and physical data models.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and data engineers to gather data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
- Hands-on experience in Azure Synapse or in Azure Databricks.
- Implement data governance practices to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with data policies and regulations.
- Create data dictionaries and metadata to provide clear insights into data structures and meanings.
- Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of the organization’s data architecture strategy and data management roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data models align with business objectives and support data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct data validation and verification to ensure data accuracy and completeness in data models.
- Work with database administrators and developers to optimize data model performance and efficiency.
- Provide documentation and training on data modelling best practices and data management standards.
