**Title**:
OCST10 - Speacialist Cost Control
Looking for 0 to 4 years' experience to support Project controls to support the Operation Team
Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, you will perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within Project Controls. You will display core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
**Responsibilities**:
Manage workload for multiple sites across customer base
Forecasts, controls, and reports project costs needed within an organization
Develops and provides project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and completion reports
Reviews project costs incurred by category, calculates future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates and risk analysis
Manage the cost controls for client projects and programs
Manage confidential customer and owner cost information according to guidelines
Provide forecasting guidance and projects for assigned projects
Perform SOX reconciliations and project and process audits as needed
**Actively interfaces with both KBR and client personnel**: Project managers, engineering work group leads, procurement specialists, and field execution personnel to obtain needed cost and schedule performance status updates for including into the integrated project performance reporting.
Requirements/Qualifications
Associate's or bachelor’s degree in related Business or Finance degree preferred.
One to four years of related experience preferred.
Must be proficient in SAP PS for both KBR and customer systems.
Must be knowledgeable in small projects cost systems and activities
Experience with the Ecosys Project Management system preferred
Must be proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office products
Creation of Pivot tables, Charts
LOOKUP functions, MATH functions,
Creation and edit of formulas for financial analysis
Filter, sort, conditional formatting
Knowledge of SAP WBS structures required
**Knowledge of a typical Work Initiation Request process**: Creating work requests, tracking, and status reporting is required
Excellent communication skills and ability to function within a project team
