**Roles of a Staff Nurse**
- **Care Provider** - Deliver direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- **Advocate** - Safeguard patient rights, dignity, and confidentiality.
- **Educator** - Provide health education to patients, families, and communities.
- **Coordinator** - Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare team members.
- **Manager** - Maintain safe, clean environments, manage supplies, and ensure adherence to protocols.
- **Communicator** - Act as a link between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- **Leader** - Guide nursing assistants and support staff in patient care.

**Responsibilities of a Staff Nurse**
- **Patient Care**:

- Monitor vital signs and health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in daily living activities (feeding, bathing, mobility).
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- **Clinical Duties**:

- Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergencies.
- Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheterization, and other nursing procedures.
- Observe and promptly report any changes in patient condition.
- **Safety & Hygiene**:

- Follow infection control protocols.
- Ensure a clean and safe patient environment.
- Manage equipment sterilization and proper disposal of medical waste.
- **Patient & Family Support**:

- Educate patients and families about treatment, medication, diet, and lifestyle.
- Provide emotional support to patients and relatives.
- Address patient complaints or concerns empathetically.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain stock of medicines and supplies.
- Prepare reports and handovers for continuity of care.
- Follow hospital rules, ethical practices, and legal requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
