The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) provides 24/7 medical care and support to inpatients, ensuring high standards of clinical care and patient safety. The RMO acts as a liaison between nursing staff and senior medical consultants, addressing urgent clinical situations and supporting the overall management of patients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide continuous medical support and supervision to admitted patients.
- Assess and manage patients under the guidance of senior consultants.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, sepsis, or acute respiratory distress.
- Monitor patient vitals, perform clinical examinations, and update medical charts.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as per hospital protocols and consultant directives.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and allied health professionals for holistic patient care.
- Assist in diagnostic procedures, minor interventions, and patient transfers if needed.
- Communicate with patients and their families about progress and clinical plans (as appropriate).
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Participate in ward rounds, handovers, audits, and morbidity & mortality meetings.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, hygiene standards, and infection control protocols.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Education**: MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by [insert relevant medical council].
- **Registration**: Valid registration with the [insert medical council, e.g., MCI/NMC/GMC].
- **Experience**: 0-3 years post-internship experience in clinical or hospital settings (preferred).

- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating schedule.

**Work Environment**:

- Hospital-based; may involve long hours and night duties.
- Exposure to critically ill patients and high-stress scenarios.
- Rotational shifts including evenings, nights, and holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,462.14 - ₹43,610.70 per month

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Shift allowance
