**1. Safety Policy and Procedure Development**:

- **Developing and implementing safety policies**:Safety officers create and update safety policies that align with local, national, and international regulations.
- **Conducting risk assessments**:They assess potential hazards and risks in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- **Developing emergency plans**:They create and implement emergency procedures, such as evacuation plans, fire drills, and first aid protocols.
- **Ensuring compliance with regulations**:They ensure that the organization adheres to all relevant occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines and regulations.

**2. Hazard Identification and Risk Control**:

- **Identifying hazards**:Safety officers conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
- **Controlling hazards**:They implement measures to control identified hazards, such as providing personal protective equipment (PPE) or modifying work processes.
- **Investigating incidents**:They investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- **Maintaining safety equipment**:They ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and readily accessible.

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
