Finance Business Partner

The Finance Business Partner’s primary focus will be on providing business support to one or more global functional business units in the company. This is a senior level functional (not people management) manager position requiring strong global experience and matrix management skills. The position requires strong communication skills, multi-client relations and significant business experience. The Finance Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the growth of the units and monitor the business to ensure that P&L goals are achieved. The Finance Business Partner will partner with management to continuously improve business decisions and results as well as improve the quality of data on which decisions are made. This is not a role of regional support, but rather, has responsibility for managing the global budget for one or more functional business units (Marketing, Products, GSS, etc.) and must influence and matrix manage the function globally. The role will support the various Business Unit leaders, while working closely with the VP of Finance to ensure consistency and adherence of Siemens corporate Financial policies, including revenue and expense recognition; P&L reporting formats; allocation methodologies; financial software and reporting timetables.
