**Job Title**: Ayurveda Therapist

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Administer various Ayurvedic therapies as per doctor’s prescription, including but not limited to:
- **Abhyanga (oil massage)**:
- **Shirodhara (head oil flow therapy)**:
- **Swedana (steam therapy)**:
- **Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, Kizhi (herbal poultice treatments)**:
- **Udwarthanam (powder massage)**:
- **Nasyam, Karnapooranam, Lepanam, etc.**:
- Assist in preparing herbal oils, decoctions, and therapy materials as per traditional methods.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in therapy rooms, and ensure that treatment beds, tools, and oils are well-prepared before each session.
- Educate patients about post-therapy care, diet, and lifestyle as per Ayurvedic recommendations.
- Monitor patient responses and report observations to the Ayurvedic physician for follow-up and care adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, patient progress, and therapy logs.
- Uphold the highest level of care, respect, and privacy for all patients.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- **Educational Requirement**:
- Diploma/Certificate in Ayurveda Therapy or Panchakarma Therapy from a recognized Ayurvedic institution.
- **Experience**:
- Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Ayurvedic therapy at a hospital, wellness center, or clinic.
- **Location Preference**:
**Key Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic treatments and massage techniques.
- Good interpersonal skills and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to follow instructions from Ayurvedic doctors and work as part of a healthcare team.
- Physical stamina and cleanliness to perform long therapy sessions with consistency.
- Basic communication skills in **Malayalam**; knowledge of **English** or **Hindi** is a plus.
**Preferred Qualities**:
- Familiarity with classical Ayurvedic texts and therapeutic principles.
- Prior experience working in NABH-accredited hospitals or wellness retreats.
- Calm and composed demeanor with a genuine interest in natural healing.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
