**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential properties.
- Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, and other components.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
- Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues using appropriate testing devices such as voltmeters and ammeters.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with national and local building regulations and safety standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize system breakdowns and replace outdated wiring or components as needed.
- Document repairs, maintenance activities, and system upgrades as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company and legal safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, other trades, and clients as necessary to complete projects efficiently.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical systems preferred.
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship or relevant certification.
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably 2-5 years in residential settings.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and local electrical codes.
- Ability to use hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Compensation**
- Monthly salary: ₹16,000 to ₹25,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
