**Job Title**: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Commerce**

**Subjects**: Business Studies, Economics & Accountancy**

**Job Purpose**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Academic Delivery**
- Teach Business Studies, Economics, and Accountancy as per CBSE curriculum (or applicable board).
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and innovative pedagogical methods to ensure interactive learning.
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Ensure coverage of syllabus within the stipulated timeframe.

** **Student Development**
- Guide students in projects, assignments, and case studies related to commerce.
- Provide academic counseling and mentoring to students for higher education and career pathways in commerce.

**Classroom & Learning Management**
- Maintain discipline, decorum, and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Integrate technology (smart boards, simulations, online resources) into teaching.
- Encourage group discussions, debates, and presentations for better learning outcomes.

**Professional Responsibilities**
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues for cross-curricular projects and activities.
- Maintain records of student performance, attendance, and progress reports.

**Qualification & Skills**:

- Master’s Degree in Commerce / Economics / Accountancy from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE/Board norms).
- Strong knowledge of Business Studies, Economics, and Accountancy curriculum.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using ICT tools and online learning platforms.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.

**Preferred Experience**
- 2-5 years of teaching experience at Senior Secondary level (Class XI & XII).
- Experience in guiding students for Board Exams, Olympiads, and competitive examinations.
