**Job Overview**:
General Description includes utilizing a design system to produce basic Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) design deliverables. Generates conceptual P&ID layouts from Process Flow Diagrams (PFD). Generates Valve Take-Offs for piping materials. Maintains and promotes a focus on McDermott’s end product whether engineering, fabrication or construction. Effectively communicates with other engineering disciplines. Ensures effective management of change.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Design PFD/UFD/P&ID’s from engineering mark-ups
- Knowledge of database maintenance
- Perform material extractions from P&ID’s for engineering
- Designs instead of copy draft

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- High school diploma
- Typically, 2-10 years of direct relevant experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD (current versions)

**Preferred Qualification and Education**:

- Associates degree in drafting and design
