**Job Title: International Education Counselor**

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Student Advising**: Meet with students individually or in groups to assess their educational goals, interests, and qualifications for studying abroad.
- **Program Guidance**: Provide information and guidance on study abroad programs, including academic offerings, admission requirements, and cultural experiences.
- **Pre-Departure Orientation**: Organize pre-departure orientation sessions to prepare students for living and studying abroad, covering topics such as cultural adjustment, academic expectations, and health and safety abroad.
- **Cultural Competency Training**: Provide cultural competency training to help students navigate cultural differences and develop intercultural communication skills.
- **Academic Advising**: Assist students in selecting courses, planning their academic program, and ensuring that credits earned abroad will transfer back to their home institution.
- **Support Services Referral**: Refer students to support services such as counseling, health services, and academic support to address their needs while studying abroad.
- **Post-Arrival Support**: Offer support to students after their arrival in the host country, including assistance with housing, orientation, and adjusting to academic and cultural challenges.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as international education, counseling, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in student advising, counseling, or study abroad advising is preferred.
- Knowledge of international education systems, study abroad programs, and visa requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with educational resources and support services for international students.
- Proficiency in relevant computer software and online tools.
- Commitment to promoting international education and cultural exchange.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹9,945.61 - ₹32,584.89 per month
