Job Summary:
The Computer Lab Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and support of the computer labs. This role includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting users, and ensuring the labs are fully functional and secure.

Key Responsibilities:
**Lab Maintenance and Operation**:

- Set up, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals in the computer labs.
- Monitor lab equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on all lab computers and software.
- Ensure that all lab systems are secure and protected from viruses and other security threats.

**User Support**:

- Provide technical support and assistance to students, faculty, and staff using the computer labs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Assist users with printing, scanning, and other peripheral devices.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain an inventory of lab equipment, software licenses, and supplies.
- Document and track support requests, issues, and resolutions.
- Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other instructional materials.
- Ensure that the lab environment is clean, organized, and conducive to learning.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a technical support or computer lab environment is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware, software, and networking.
