**Responsibilities**:
- **Inventory Management**: Supervise and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the godown.
- **Organization of Goods**: Ensure proper organization and categorization of goods within the godown to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
- **Quality Control**: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all incoming and outgoing goods meet the required standards.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- **Safety Compliance**: Enforce safety procedures and standards to create a secure working environment for warehouse personnel.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and other relevant documentation.
- **Reporting**: Prepare regular reports on godown activities, including inventory levels, stock movements, and any discrepancies.
- **Logistics Coordination**: Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to streamline the supply chain and ensure timely deliveries.
- **Space Optimization**: Efficiently utilize available space within the godown, implementing strategies to maximize storage capacity.
- **Security Measures**: Implement security measures to safeguard goods and prevent unauthorized access.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in warehouse management, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years in a Supervisor role.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in using ERP and other relevant software. Familiarity with inventory control procedures.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with team members and other departments.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to identify and address issues promptly, implementing effective solutions.
- **Leadership**: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory records and compliance with quality standards.
- **Time Management**: Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting and moving heavy objects.
