The role and responsibilities of the Pet Groomer we are looking for are outlined in the following bullet points:

- Interact with pet owners, providing excellent customer service, understanding their grooming preferences, and addressing their concerns.
- Observe pet's behavior and report any unusual signs or behaviors to pet owners or the pet shop manager.
- Adhere to proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe grooming environment.
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of grooming services provided, including details on pet's coat condition, services performed, and any specific instructions from pet owners.
- Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, trends, and pet care knowledge through workshops, seminars, and industry resources.
- Collaborate with the pet shop team to ensure the overall well-being and satisfaction of pets and pet owners.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on grooming maintenance and general pet care.
- Adhere to pet shop policies and procedures, including scheduling, pricing, and customer communication.
- Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort and safety during the grooming process.
- Perform professional grooming services for various pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals.
- Provide bathing, shampooing, and conditioning services to ensure pets' coats are clean and healthy.
- Trim, shape, and style pet's fur according to specific breed standards or customer preferences.
- Safely and effectively trim pet's nails to an appropriate length.
- Clean and inspect pet's ears, removing dirt, debris, and excess wax as needed.
- Conduct basic dental care, including teeth brushing and recommending dental hygiene practices.
- Perform gland expression when necessary to maintain pet's comfort and health.
- Brush and comb pet's coat to remove tangles, mats, and loose fur.
- Assess and identify any skin or coat issues, such as dryness, allergies, or parasites, and report them to pet owners or the veterinarian.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a pet groomer or relevant training/certification.
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques, breed-specific grooming standards, and pet care.
- Familiarity with grooming equipment and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle pets with patience, compassion, and confidence.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area.
- Physical stamina to lift and handle pets of various sizes and breeds.
- Good communication skills to interact with pet owners and the pet shop team.
