**The Role
Data Researcher to join our dynamic team and help us collect and maintain our best-in-class shareholder ownership data. Reason for Recruitment

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collecting and recording shareholder information for companies trading on the London Stock Exchange.
- Gathering information from multiple data sources.
- Validating the collected information to determine its accuracy.
- Researching unclear and conflicting information to reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensuring recorded data is accurate and verified.
- Maintaining and improving the quality of the data.
- Working within a team and individually to meet weekly deadlines.

**Skills, Experience, and Qualifications**:

- Basic knowledge of the financial world, familiarity with financial terms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Fluent English.
- Focus on delivering quality work in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently, to verify information and make intelligent, justified decisions confidently.
- Ability to question existing data and correct it as necessary.
