As Associate Corporate Counsel, you will work alongside a tight knit group of highly talented professionals and top lawyers from across the globe handling all aspects of the legal, regulatory, corporate and compliance matters of the Company.

**Picture Yourself at Pega**:
As Associate Corporate Counsel, you will be part the legal team advising a fast-paced, high-growth public software company on corporate, procurement, regulatory and legal matters, interacting with stakeholders spread across different geographies, while reporting into Lead Counsel - India and International Corporate Law.

**What You'll Do at Pega**:

- Draft, review and revise a broad range of contracts, including master services agreements, statements of work and professional services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, data processing agreements, and sponsorship agreements
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand procurement goals and assess risk, and negotiate contract changes with third parties.
- Draft and update contract templates and related resources
- Help create and implement processes to identify and assess vendors, and review, execute and audit vendor contracts
- Provide guidance on the compliance requirements under labour laws and assist the teams in ensuring compliance.
- Evaluate the impact of evolving legal and statutory regulations pertaining to the relevant business function and highlight the same for implementation within the Company.
- Assist with corporate entity management, documentation, and filings.
- Work with Head of Legal, India on various matters including drafting department processes, effectively addressing legal issues in a timely and proactive manner, identifying and mitigating risks and imparting training to stakeholders on regulatory or policy matters

- Self-starter with the ability to work responsibly with sincerity and honesty
- An individual who is reliable and dependable as a team member and takes accountability to complete assignments with a sense of urgency without compromising on quality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including discretion, tact, and courtesy, along with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to build and maintain strong positive relationships with team members and business stakeholders, including senior leaders
- Flexibility to take on special projects/additional responsibilities with an eagerness to learn

**What You've Accomplished**:

- Bachelor’s degree in law, preferably from a reputed university
- 3-7 years of experience of working in an in-house legal team Experience working in a Software as a Service (SaaS) organization preferred.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas strongly preferred: contract review and negotiation; procurement practices; corporate law;
