Job Description:
**1.2. Maintenance of Database**

1.2.1. Round the clock monitoring and maintenance/support for Oracle RAC instances in all the shifts (24x7x365) and future enhancements, if any.

1.2.2. Oracle Database Advanced features should be supported

1.2.3. Other activities: Maintain uptime of Database, Database administration, Closure of DB related VAPT/CSR/Audit observations, Backup scheduling and monitoring, Support for DAM integration, DB upgradation, RAC setup, Data guard, Golden Gate, Compression, Redaction and other advanced features of Oracle, RMAN, DR Drill support, SCD, TDE, SSL, Coordination with OEM for support, VAPT supports etc.

1.2.5. Enabling performance options & fine-tuning of Oracle database for optimizing the

performance. AWR, ASH Reports generation and analysis, whenever required

Backup & Restoration policy.

1.2.8. Monitoring of Oracle user sessions for Database through jobs, with alert mechanism for stale and inactive users/sessions.

1.2.9. To remove the identified stale and inactive users/session under advice to Bank team

1.2.10. Ensure re-org activity of all databases in periodicity as required by the system. This may also include data truncation and archiving as advised by the Bank.

1.2.12. Ensure high availability of database and recommend the same to the Bank for capacity planning purpose.

1.2.13. User and access management at various levels including network / OS / Database /

Application and Audit Control - As per Bank’s Standard Process and

Recommendations.

Access revocation request needs to be placed immediately after the work is done.

1.2.15. Configuration of database auditing at various levels including table level should be implemented as per Bank's policy document

1.2.16. DB Backup to be taken as per Bank’s/ Department’s policy. Back up of archive

logs, alert logs to be taken.

1.2.18. Maintenance of Oracle data-guard for data replication in Bank’s

replication/standby/DR/ NDR Servers.

1.2.19. Conformance to BCP plan of Bank

1.2.20. Escalating Hardware and OS, DB software related issues to Bank and ensuring of timely resolution of the issues

1.2.21. Database Monitoring for critical resources using OEM.

1.2.22. Database Upgrade to the latest version decided by the Bank to be implemented

1.2.23. Configuration of Oracle Golden Gate for syncing of data with other systems

1.2.24. Attending System/Schema Level Performance Issues

1.2.25. Capacity (Disk) Monitoring and communicating to Bank in case of any issues/risks

1.2.26. Setup DB security as per Bank standards

1.2.27. Install Monthly/Q uarterly Patches, Security Patches etc. as and when

recommended by the Bank/ OEM/Bidder. Installation to be done after approval from the Bank team.

1.2.28. Participate in Planned/Unplanned DR Drills

1.2.29. Assist Bank appointed Auditors during the DB Audit procedure

1.2.30. Daily, Weekly DB reports to bank team as per defined process

1.2.31. Enabling Performance option & fine tuning of oracle database for optimizing the performance.

1.2.32. DB performance tuning and optimization activities to be carried out on monthly

basis and also in case of any performance issues, it has to be done on ad -hoc basis.

1.2.33. DB related Audit and compliance

1.2.34. Tuning of Data Base and implementation of guidelines and changes suggested by monitoring department or suggested through Oracle proactive review.

1.2.35. Managing the database's storage structures

1.2.36. Managing users and security

1.2.37. Managing schema objects, such as tables, indexes, and views

1.2.38. Maintain SQL and PL/SQL queries and shell scripts

1.2.39. Logging and following Service Requests with Oracle Support team in case of any issues.

1.2.40. Maintain cluster logs. cluster start and stop, configure resources or parameters as

per bank policy.

**Salary**: Up to ₹1,900,000.00 per year
