Cisco is now looking for an experienced, creative, experienced **Corporate Counsel** to support our **India/ SAARC** operations.

You will be drafting and negotiating deals with leading companies and other large resellers and customers to deliver video, cloud, mobility, and collaboration solutions.

You will be building partnerships with senior leaders in areas such as corporate governance, competition law and anti-bribery laws, as well as helping develop innovative legal solutions to business problems, while maintaining the company’s high standards of integrity and ethical and transparent conduct.

You will have the opportunity to work independently but collaboratively with a world-class, high energy and fun group of legal professionals both in India and outside India in an environment that enables success while rewarding innovation and challenging (and expanding) your comfort zone.

Located in **Bangalore**, and reporting to the Legal Director for India/ SAARC, the role will primarily provide support to the sales teams engaging with our customers across the **India & SAARC theatre**.

**Background / Qualifications**
- **Law degree** or equivalent professional qualification with a minimum of 5-8 years of law firm or industry relevant experience required.
- “**Can Do**” attitude is essential along with the ability to informally (and persuasively) lead a cross functional team in getting deals done under pressure, while balancing

priorities and risks.
- **India legal knowledge**/expertise required. Direct **negotiation experience** in complex and large technology transactions strongly desirable.
- Knowledge of cloud, networking, **outsourcing**, **telecom** or **software** industries and anti-trust, anti-corruption (like FCPA) or public procurement laws will be a strong plus.
- Knowledge and experience in **channel/ reseller** based selling models is desirable.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
